Until recently Internal Investigations didn't exist in Germany. Since the US-American concept began to form here, too, it got complicated: May and can the state outsource investigative work without giving away too much authority? Does any material coming from a firm need to be double-checked? How do prosecutors and business representatives define their roles? JUVE asked two prominent legal practitioners for a statement concerning these questions.
