Johannes Jiang at Law's Empirics Blog
News from Apr 07, 2021
FUELS member Johannes Jiang has authored a contribution (German only) to the online symposium “Empirical Turn” on the Law’s Empirics blog. In it, he argues that despite encouraging developments over the past decade, German legal scholarship should look to increase its use of empirical methods still. He suggests that insights from existing empirical work and the methods with which such work is produced should feature more prominently in German legal education, and proposes a variety of ways in which this can be done.
The Law’s Empirics Blog educates on and promotes the use of empirical methods in German and international legal scholarship. Hanjo Hamann, one of the blog’s founding editors, is a FUELS member and external Habilitation candidate at Freie Universität.
