The Berlin University Alliance has granted funding for a research project of FUELS member Johanna Wolff jointly with Christoph Möllers (Humboldt University) on “Open Access in Legal Scholarship". With open access publication playing an increasingly important role in law, the project will explore the current attitude and sentiment of authors and other stakeholders towards the concept and the challenges in transforming the world of legal scholarship to an open and interdisciplinary one as regards Open Access.

The Berlin University Alliance supports the project under its key objective “Advancing Research Quality and Value”. Five research projects have received total funding of €1.2 million.
