Information about the lecture
Participants will be trained in the admissibility requirements of an individual application under Art. 35 ECHR and in the current criteria of Art. 47 of the ECtHR Rules of Procedure (RP) for the application form.
The first part of the course will focus on practical aspects of the procedure. Mr. von Raumer presents the complaints of his law firm that were “accepted” by the ECtHR last year. He addresses both the relevant admissibility aspects and the merits of the proceedings. In the second part, the most important admissibility criteria of an individual application under Art. 35 ECHR are described and categorised in a practical manner. In the last part, the formalities of Art. 47 of the RP are discussed using the ECtHR complaint form.
