Am 23. Mai 2023 findet an der University of Illinois, College of Law eine Konferenz statt zum Thema: "Whistleblowers, Internal Investigations, and Compliance Design in the United States, Germany, and Austria". Die Konferenz wird organisiert vom Illinois Program in Comparative Criminal Procedure and Policing (Prof. Jacqueline Ross) und mitfinanziert vom European Union Center, dem Illinois Program in Criminal Law und dem Illinois Program in Constitutional History.

Auf der Konferenz werden vom Fachbereich Rechtswissenschaft der Freien Universität Berlin Univ.-Prof. Dr. Carsten Momsen und wiss.Mit.'in Paula Benedict sprechen. 

Die Konferenz ist Teil des vom Arbeitsbereich für Vergleichendes Strafrecht, Strafverfahrensrecht, Wirtschafts- und Umweltstrafrecht gemeinsam mit Prof. Jacqueline Ross und Prof. Verity Windship von der University of Illinois College of Law betriebenen Forschungsprojekts "Comparative Perspectives on Whistleblower Protection".
