At the Freie Universität Empirical Legal Studies (FUELS) center, the need for extensive manual data collection in the DFG-funded project Germany, Inc. has led to the development of a general-purpose web-based software solution for collaborative data gathering. The resulting DatabaseConstructor has now become a separate FUELS project. A generally accessible demo installation for testing can be found here (username: admin, password: admin).
