Grading and Type of Exam
For the most part, the grade will rest on a three-hour, open-book, in-person final exam (at Freie Universität Berlin) toward the end of the semester (most probably in May or June). It may climb up a notch (never down) on the basis of oral participation.
Grade conversion will follow the table for study abroad at the University of Connecticut School of Law as approved by the Examination Committee. The table is shown on the webpage https://www.jura.fu-berlin.de/international/studierendenaustausch/outgoings/partnerunis/uconn_double-degree/index.html under the headline "Grade Conversion".
Grade Release
Once successfully completed at the University of Connecticut, this course will be transferred to the student's records at Freie Universität Berlin.
