The Self-Determination Act makes it possible to correct the gender entry under civil status law by making a declaration to the registry office. As part of the lecture series on diversity issues organised by Prof. Armbrüster and Prof. Hartmann, Prof. Dr Bettina Rentsch, LL.M. (Michigan), FU Berlin, and Prof. Dr Dana-Sophia Valentiner, University of Rostock, will examine the new law from a constitutional and civil law perspective. The event will take place on Thursday, 13 June 2024 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. c.t. in Lecture Hall I.
