Impact Factor
The List of Publications currently contains some 250 scientific publications mainly in the fields of Contract, Company and Business Law, Insurance, Private International Law and European Law as well as about 60 book reviews and other articles in legal periodicals. The Dissertation on Insurance Contract Law was marked “summa cum laude”. The Habilitationsschrift which deals with Company Law and Trust was awarded the Helmut Schippel prize of Deutsche Notarrechtliche Vereinigung. Professor Armbrüster has been invited to Universities in Paris and Rome as a Visiting Professor, where he has taught Company and Business Law in English and French. In addition, he has lectured at Partner Universities abroad, e.g. in Barcelona, London, San Francisco and Tokyo. He is the German representative for the THEMIS network of excellence that includes Bocconi in Milan, ESADE in Barcelona, Paris Est Créteil Val de Marne, Universiteit Maastricht, Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien as well as Singapore Management University. Furthermore, he participated in work on the HERMÈS 2011 Study on the Protection of Cultural Heritage at Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) in Paris. He served as a member of the Insurance Board of the Federal Financial Services Control Board (BaFin) in Bonn, Germany from 2005 to 2015. His advice has been sought by the German Government and by the Federal Parliament (Deutscher Bundestag) in the context of various lawmaking projects.
