Dear MBL Community,

It is with great sadness that we learned about the passing of Heike Schweitzer. She was a giant of competition law. She was a wonderful teacher and a kind and generous mentor. Her work inspired fellow academics in law and economics. She reached practitioners and policy makers in the EU and beyond. From 2014 to 2018, she was our program’s Academic Director. During her tenure, she updated the program by placing an emphasis on the regulation of the digital economy and bringing on important new perspectives. We will honor her legacy and will keep her in our hearts.
